Cub Scouting Program

Cub Scouts do fun things with other kids… and learn in the process!

A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
You will learn the values of Scouting through fun, interactive programming.

Wear a cool uniform: Earn badges and awards!
Go places and see things: Explore!
Get outside: Camp, fish, hike!
Help your community: Do Service Projects!
Build things: Like FAST Pinewood Derby cars!
When you think the fun is over: Go to Summer Day Camp!

Cub Scouts Belong

As a Cub Scout, you will be part of our Pack. The Pack is divided into smaller groups called Dens. All of the Cub Scouts in a Den are in the same grade and may even go to the same school, but in Pack 634, we have boys from many different school, school districts, and home schooled boys. You will have a great time meeting new boys and making new friends!

Our Cub Scout Pack is part of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church; they charter our group. The Church makes sure that our Pack has good adult leaders and a place to meet. Many families in our Unit do belong to the Church, but many are not Catholic. It is not a requirement to be a Parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes to be in our Pack. ALL ARE WELCOME.

Earn Badges and Awards through Adventures

The programming is comprised of age appropriate ADVENTURES. As the Scouts complete their Adventure requirements, they will receive cool awards that they can wear on their Cub Scout belts. Completion of the required Adventures results in a Rank Badge, which we present at a special ceremony in the Spring that honors and recognizes all their hard work.
